Introduction
The fundamental driving force behind all my work is: an insatiable curiosity, a desire to learn cutting-edge technologies, and the expectation of advancing the development and application of technology.
I am currently participating in research projects in the AgenticFin Lab at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (Guangzhou) in Financial Technology Thrust and will soon pursue a Ph.D. in FinTech. My research interests mainly focus on reasoning of multimodal large model, causal inference, and asset pricing. At present, we have completed a paper on the dataset construction of financial multimodal large language model, and will soon publish the results on arxiv, GitHub, and huggingface. We are also continuing to conduct more research and open source projects.
I previously studied at Shenzhen University, where I earned a Bachelor of Economics in Finance and a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science and Technology, graduating with honors as an outstanding graduate of the college.
After graduation, to gain a broader understanding of the adoption, application, and development of emerging technologies in the industry and among the general public, I chose not to pursue further studies immediately. Instead, I founded my own company, conducting social research and learning initiatives under the name of a startup. During this process, I accumulated extensive social experience, collected diverse industrial data, engaged in dialogues with numerous industry professionals and social organizations, provided technical support for government activities and institutional projects, conducted professional content sharing and teaching in communities, and delved into Shenzhen's electronic hardware and software industry chain. Through various forms of social practice, I significantly deepened my understanding of specific applications in the industry.
During my entrepreneurial journey, I also joined social organizations and charitable institutions dedicated to aiding those in need, serving part-time as an AI technology advisor and product manager. I assisted them in implementing AI technology applications and public welfare services, engaging in extensive learning and exploration in areas such as website development, programming, product design, circuit boards, system customization, and robotics applications.
I maintain long-term connections with many classmates and friends from various fields, such as history, medicine, economics, journalism and communication, psychology, law, management, quantum computing, and quantitative investment. I follow their work and research developments, engage in appropriate technical discussions and provide support, and contemplate the application of artificial intelligence in their work. These discussions are often non-utilitarian, driven instead by a desire to integrate new knowledge and technologies.
The rapid development of artificial intelligence in recent times has prompted me to pay closer attention to and promote cutting-edge advances, so my focus has gradually shifted from industry to academia. I am currently conducting research work with professors and graduate students, and I hope to publish my research results as soon as possible.
